I'm an experienced RPer, mostly through tabletop RP, who is searching for a Supergroup where I can enjoy RPing. Searching on my own has yielded few results. Thus, I turn to the forums for help. I would be open to any possible suggestions by the community to find a Supergroup which my character could fit into. My preferences for a Supergroup are listed below.

  • Serious - I am a serious RPer, often staying in character and rarely speaking out of character unless to notify others of something.
  • Lore/Plot - I have no issues reading through pages of plot or lore for a Supergroup; in fact, I read relatively quickly.
  • Character Driven - I would prefer a Supergroup where there is more focus on character development, but this is not as important.
  • Accomodating - Like many others, I have obligations to fulfill in the real world, so a Supergroup that is forgiving to the occasional absence would be nice. It should be noted the obligations I have are few in number.

That small list is essentially my qualifications/preferences for a Supergroup. I will include a list of traits regarding my character who seeks to join a Supergroup below.

  • Arcane - He is a powerful magic user. His magic is of divine origin but he is not a god.
  • Flawed - He has a major character flaw that would be interesting in RP: he struggles to empathize with others.
  • Deep Character History - I have developed his backstory with consideration to the Champions Online Lore. It is not perfect, but I have developed it to the best of my knowledge.

I do enjoy RPing on Champions Online and find the community to be very kind. I hope that my post will yield results.
EternalSorcerer is my name for a reason. I am extremely difficult to get rid of and I would have been burned at the stake for heresy.

I have since edited the PRIMUS Database page for my character, so it accurately displays more up to date information.

Hope you find a group, you seem like a decent fella.

I'd bring you into mine if I was running one.
When I die, I'd like to go as my grandfather did, peacefully in my sleep. Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Finding a group may take a while. Very few are active. Some of my searches found Supergroups whose last activities were years ago. The ones I find either do not fit my play style or are not recruiting.

And thank you for the compliment. You are very kind.

I like the colours on your Primus page, they make it very readable.
I must confess: His timeline doesn't make sense to me- 1566 years old puts him born before the fall of Rome, and a Christian Priest in the British isles wouldn't be burning people for heresy for reading the easily available Classics, Histories and Greek Philosophies. Literacy hadn't faded there yet, and by the time he was in his 30s? Egypt would be a Byzantine-run Province, easily reachable by ship at Alexandria.

Also "spandex", for his WW2 blurb, wasn't invented until 1959, and made available for the fashion market until 1962. His tights would be Wool, cotton or possibly newly invented nylon. But that's a nitpick.

Anyhoo- Welcome to CORP, and Good luck finding a group! :)

You bring up good points. I must have gotten my world history wrong. I did take that class a few years ago and I was never good at remembering the 10,000 years of history I was required to memorize.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

*Update: I went back to my old World History notes and found that heretics were not burned at the stake in England until roughly the 1400s. I have updated his history to accurately reflect world history.
