I recently did an interest check on something called the SECRET PROTECTORS on my team's forums. This was a covert/ black ops style super hero team in the vein of X-FORCE or SECRET AVENGERS. To that end, I have started THE COALITION, whose purpose is much the same.

This team will NOT be a formal group. There will be no SG tags and there will not even be an in game chat room for them to unwind. It will be more of an informal, mission driven team that will come together on an 'as needed' basis for events and RP. This sub forum will serve as its hub.

Please note I will not be accepting characters who I deem theme inappropriate for the cast. I'm sticking very much to the stories I am wanting to tell, and as such will be very particular about the characters who come on board. It's nothing personal.

The above pictures should be a good indicator of what I'm looking for. If you can't see your character in these pieces, then I would probably not ask for an invite. If you ARE interested, please add your character name below for consideration and I'll get with you!

oh ho! I was wondering what the Mysterious Logo on the PDB was for!
Break a leg, Pallas! :D

Clone K-956X "Killer" Haven. Independent, jovial, good with people and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. Works at a local mechanic shop. She is stealth capable, regenerating, strong and very fond of knives. Recently given a malvan sword to "do good things" with.

Jorge Sandoval. Young, hardworking doctor from near Albuquerque specializing in metahuman medicine. While currently employed at the East Briar Institute's teaching hospital, he has no qualms about quietly patching up any heros that need a hand. Not too fond of mystical villains due to past experiences. He has no powers himself.
[I am including Jorge not because he's combat capable- he isn't in a superhero sense, unless you're a javelina or a rattlesnake- but because there is usually a few people that work on the side, getting needed information, fixing equipment and generally keeping things running when there are things that need doing. He just happens to be the guy that patches up people. ;)]

If you still happen to be in need of members, I might have one character that could be an interesting fit:

Comes in Classic AND Tactical costumes!

Farsight is a fairly weak telepath who makes up for it by having extremely difficult to detect mental powers and a wide range of abilities. He is mostly a support character, using his mental powers to bolster the abilities of his allies. He can manipulate the brain to dull pain, calm emotions, bolster the will, give a shot of adrenaline, even show teammates the briefest of sight into the future to aid in combat. He can also throw up illusions, establish telepathic links, and even perform mind control. Farsight has trouble using his powers against trained minds, metas, and other psychics but can easily dominate the minds of regular people. He can use his abilities to psychically gather information, but more esoteric uses such as remote sensing or brain scanning can take much time at his level of power. His telekinesis is extremely weak, though he can use it precisely enough to heal wounds at a much faster rate.

He has a background as a Special Forces soldier, and thus would be somewhat familiar with the covert nature of the group. As an engineer sergeant, he is particularly skilled in construction and demolition. He is currently unregistered, and mostly sticks to street level crime as he is quite physically vulnerable without a team.

If he feels the cause is just and the moment right, he will use his mental powers in ways that other heroic mentalists might deem unsavory. A deeply religious man with a strong sense of justice, Farsight grimly recognizes the numerous ways his powers could be used and abused.

A late reply but perhaps.... why not? :)
I have Valerya.

She is a elf in political exile whose been on earth for the last 30 something years and finds here much more pleasant then the 16thcentury equivalent she came from. She's trained in the traditional weapons one might expect, some herbalism and woodlore and a surprisingly meager selection of magic tricks.

Here? She finds the political scene of much more relevance, the intricate ploys of playing people, and countries off of each other. She's invested heavily in the stock market, funded part of the recent Ukranian unrest and has widespread contacts, from Serbian Pirates to Cuban refugees to ambassadors in the far east. She firmly belives that force, if properly motivated can be a very useful tool, though in many situations a friendly word and a gift, can do just as well.

She speaks seven languages as well as several fay dialects, has a collection of modern art [ mostly cubist] and drives a '66 Bizzarrini 5300 GT strada. She is polite but somewhat coldly distant, dislikes halfbreeds, the peerage, and anarchists.

She's 6 foot, slender, shoulder length blonde with green eyes.

Watchman could be a good fit. No powers. Highly-skilled archer and detective. This might be one of the few groups where he'd be able to play along.

We can talk more on PMs if you're still interested in making this happen.

Alright, hero goes nothing.

Enforcer could fit what you're looking for, ex-M.A.R.S. officer turned super cop type o' deal. His power are: He can draw different powers from different firearms. Not sure what else i could add, could talk more over PMs.

I remember Watchman from an event or two some time ago. He does seem like a good fit.

And I believe this (side-)project thing is still on, pallas001 just has a pretty hectic schedule.
